I love my space, in every sense of the word. In terms of space to create – that’s an absolute necessity. I like having a place to go when I want to be alone with my ideas, where I can store materials, and carry out projects. As much as I love rooms that are neat and tidy, it’s not really the way I operate when I’m in the middle of 5 projects. It’s a waste of time to me to put stuff away when I’m just going to have to bring it out again the next time I am working. My creative space can’t really be shared with any other function; if I relied on my dining table as my crafts/writing table, we would never be able to eat on it. Because…priorities!
For today’s #3ThingsThursday linkup, hosted by Pink Chai Living, The Write Balance and Love Laugh Mirch, I’m sharing some ideas for turning your closet into a crafts room/office/studio – whatever it is you need! If a closet isn’t in the cards, there are other ways to work around that (look at #3 below)! Check out these three websites for some brilliant and inspiring ideas!

These are certainly inspiring me to organize my own space more efficiently! In fact, I am going to use some of the toddler’s naptime to do that now ๐
Love all those creative spaces! I have a office at home but don’t use it that much for some reason. Usually i just sit on the table or couch outside. Some to think about. Maybe some decorating is in order! Glad you linked up and shared these ideas on 3 Things Thursday!
Hi Salma, thanks for the comment! I’m a big fan of a no-kids zone lol But if I’m working after the kids go to bed and it’s something I don’t need to concentrate too much on, then I will take my portable lap desk and sit on the couch while my husband watches sports highlights ๐
