This past Friday was a very exciting day! A video interview of me, hosted by Erin Madore of Creative Soul in Motion, went LIVE! This was thrilling for two reasons: it is the FIRST of its kind (I’ve never been recorded telling my story!), and it gave me the opportunity to reflect on the last few years.
There’s something about telling your story, whether spoken or written, that forces you to re-live emotions, heartaches, and victories. But it’s different when you step back into those shoes wearing now a layer of newer experiences, discoveries and understanding. It brings me much peace to be able to look back on a time when I once thought my life was kinda crappy and be able to feel grateful for those tears shed on the kitchen floor – knowing those tears brought me to where I now sit, happily clicking away on a keyboard.
I hope you can take a break today and watch me answer Erin’s beautiful questions. This is the first interview in a series called Creating Careers of Purpose. I encourage you to tune in to Erin’s weekly interviews; they are the spark you have been waiting for to get going on your dreams!
