Here’s a little something I doodled on the airplane on our way to Disneyland earlier this month.  (I had to do something to take my mind off the fact that I was juuuust starting to feel a little queasy.)

I don’t know where I first heard that phrase.  But isn’t it gorgeous?  I mean, doesn’t it just sound like whoooosh! what a relief that I don’t have to be anybody else?  Doesn’t it just scream, I am so fine just the way I am?  If we truly believe in these 10 beautiful words, all those measuring sticks we hold ourselves up against, all the judgment we pour on ourselves…they just vanish.

When was the last time you reminded yourself that you are absolutely perfect at being you?  You – in all the quirky ways you walk your path – are the best you there is.  Nobody else can do the job quite like you.

How does that make you feel?  What can you let go of now that you understand that?  What kinds of freedoms can you grant yourself now?  And what are you waiting for?

I am going to log these questions in Writing Prompts so that you can take them to your favourite writing spot and spend some time with them.
